I knew from my first lesson that I was in the right place. Diane is a master of vocal technique in the tradition of Garcia, Malabran, Dudley Buck, and William Miller. While working with her, I felt an immediate difference in my vocal production. Diane has the right ear to quickly assess what is going wrong in the instrument and fix it. Right away it, it was easier to sing. Diane teaches how to produce a “big” voice, so it can easily fill an opera house.
Diane nurtures the body, the voice, and your soul. At an age when most singers face retirement (age 52), my voice sounds better than when I was at Indiana University School of Music. I can sing more difficult literature with ease, legato, and NO warble!

In all her years of teaching, she’s never had any student with any vocal damage. In fact, she is able to repair vocal damage. No one in her studio has ever had any vocal damage. No nodes, fissures, pain or discomfort and we can all sing beautifully.
